Remember: Gomoti river originated from a region named Dumur of the North-Eastern terminal hilly region of Tripura Province, India. This river entered Bangladesh through near the Kotok Bazar of Cumilla Sadar Upazilla. Due to sudden floods, this river was once called, ‘The sorrow of Cumilla’. There is no effect of tibe and ebb in this river.
